TENNIS INSTRUCTION
Group and private instruction available with PEAC’s tennis pro Monika Waniek and Youth Tennis Instructor Emily Petersack.
YOUTH PROGRAMS
Fundamentals of Tennis- For ages 3-5. This class is for beginners and will teach players the proper way to hold and swing a racket, basic tennis strokes and will emphasize hand-eye coordination.
Stroke Correction- For ages 6-8. This class is for participants who have some playing experience and is based on stroke correction. Players will also be taught proper scoring, parts of the tennis court, and strategy.
Advanced Strategy- For ages 9-11. Players will work on proper footwork, complete stroke correction, and advanced strategy including group strategy and where to hit the ball (such as hitting angles, etc).
JUNIOR PROGRAMS
Munchkin Tennis- For ages 4-6. This is a one-hour session that emphasizes hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and the basic swing along with fun!
Future Stars Clinic- For ages 6-9. This program will be a four-week clinic that focuses on basic techniques, movement and will include fun, on-court games. Class sessions are one hour.
Beginner Drill & Play- For ages 10-14. The focus for this program is on technique, singles/doubles strategy, scoring and games that incorporate drills to improve your skills.
Intermediate Drill & Play- For ages 10-14. This program is designed for players who are just starting to play USTA level tournaments and aspire to play at a more competitive level of tennis. Class sessions are one hour.
ADULT PROGRAMS
Adult Beginner Clinic- This is an introductory program for men and women. The first four-week session will focus on technique, stroke production and tennis footwork. The second four-week session will put your skills to work, focusing on playing and scoring.
Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Drill - Players with limited experience. The focus will be on a stroke production including: forehands, backhands, volleys, overheads and serves. Match play prep.
Adult Intermediate Drill & Play-These one hour classes are designed for players who desire a great tennis workout while being challenged by more intense playing situations. Focus will be on improving grips, spin, control, depth and doubles strategy. Four-week sessions offered throughout the year.
Advanced Drill- Bring it on! These players have consistency, power, spin and depth. We will focus on taking our game to the next level—including strategy, mental toughness and conditioning.
Cardio Tennis for Adults- Monika and Jason will incorporate fast-paced tennis drills with intervals of cardio stations. This program provides a great workout and focuses on footwork and on-court tennis drills. (Some tennis experience required, with PEAC members having first priority.)

Private Lesson Rates
Member:
Private: $65 1-hr.
Semi-private: $70 1 hr
Non-Member:
Private: $80 1-hr.
Semi-private: $85 1-hr.
ACTIVITIES
Ladies Round Robin
Ladies round robin is offered to players that are interested in an organized weekly doubles play. Ladies can participate in this Round Robin event in the fall, winter, and spring season.
Men’s Singles Challenge
Men's Singles challenge is offered to players who are interested in a weekly match play. Singles round robin match-up is available for an intermediate and intermediate/advance level of play. This event is offered in the winter/spring season.
Men’s Round Robin
Men’s round robin is offered to players that are interested in an organized weekly doubles play. Men can participate in this Round Robin event in the fall, winter, and spring season.
COURT TIME
Courts are available to PEAC Members for 1 hour and 1 1/2 hour time periods by making reservations through the Service Desk up to six days in advance. The fee for court time is $10 per hour and cancellations with less than a 48-hour advance notice shall be subject to a $10 cancellation fee.
CONTRACT COURT
Seasonal Tennis Courts are available to PEAC members, giving them the opportunity to have contract court time on a weekly basis. Seasonal courts are offered for the months of October through May for 30 weeks.
$300 for 1 hour court
$450 for 1 1/2 hour court
Non-member guests coming in to play on a contracted court will be required to purchase a Guest Pass each visit or purchase a trial membership. Registration forms are available at the Service Desk. Contract courts are pro-rated after October 1st.
*Summer contract courts may be available.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cannot keep your private lesson appointment, a 24-hour notice is required in order to avoid being charged a canellation fee. All no-show appointments will be charged the cancellation fee.
