PEAC Health & Fitness Collects Rain Gear for HomeFront

PEAC Health & Fitness is partnering with HomeFront to collect rain gear for children in our community that may be less fortunate. For the month of August, PEAC will be collecting collapsible umbrellas, rain boots, rain jackets and ponchos.

“There is more to being prepared for school than pencils and books. Some kids are waiting for the bus in inclement weather without the proper gear. It’s difficult to start your day soaked and uncomfortable,” said Irene Hosszu, Executive Assistant, from HomeFront.

HomeFront is a non-profit agency providing a comprehensive network of services for the underprivileged and homeless in Mercer County, NJ. HomeFront’s mission is to meet the immediate needs of food, shelter and safety and to help the troubled families break from the cycle of poverty.
