PEAC Health & Fitness Collects Sneakers for School
July 12, 2010
PEAC Health & Fitness is partnering with HomeFront to collect back to school athletic shoes for needy children in our community. For the month of August, PEAC will be collecting new sneakers for children of all ages. Please stop by to drop off new sneakers, and you’ll put a spring in a child’s step this Fall.
“There are various supplies and necessities children need these days in preparation for school, but new shoes aren’t always affordable in this economy,” said Irene Hosszu, Executive Assistant, from HomeFront.
HomeFront is a non-profit agency providing a comprehensive network of services for the underprivileged and homeless in Mercer County, NJ. HomeFront’s mission is to meet the immediate needs of food, shelter and safety and to help the troubled families break from the cycle of poverty.
