PEAC Health & Fitness Announces Addition of Indoor Cycling Studio
September 2, 2011
(Ewing, NJ) –PEAC Health and Fitness has announced the addition of a full service indoor cycling studio outfitted with Computrainers and coaching staff this Fall. PEACycling will cater to the cycling and multisport needs of the greater Princeton, Pennington and Ewing area. PEACycling will address every aspect of cycling and triathlon preparation including personalized coaching, weight loss and sports nutrition. We look forward to celebrating the journey along with our clients from start to finish. PEACycling’s Studio is a specialized testing and performance facility for cyclists and multisport athletes of all levels. The goal of the PEACycling program is to “turn riders into cyclists.” PEACycling does so by providing riders with an inclusive array of services, both for greater performance and as a means to test their unique cycling ability. These services include lactic acid threshold tests, Indoor Computrainer classes and Yoga specific to the cyclist. Classes will run 6 days a week. Additionally, private coached sessions are available, both one-on-one and for private groups.
“Adding the studio, directed by Christopher Draper, RD, LDN, CSCS, is a logical step for PEAC, where cyclists and triathletes are becoming increasingly mindful of the benefits of working with a professional to implement proper coaching as well as nutrition and fueling,” says club owner Michael Briehler.
The intimate studio environment where personalized attention, coupled with a strong background in the services, is paramount to empowering clients with the tools necessary for success. “The opportunity to be assessed and coached in a private cycling facility provides an individual with a tremendous advantage as he or she trains for health, wellness or an event. Such hands on and personalized assessment and instruction helps an athlete fine tune their training program. In addition, as a registered/licensed dietitian, conditioning specialist and avid Ironman/Ultraman Hawaii World Championships competitor myself, I have firsthand knowledge and experience about the imperativeness of a sound periodized training and nutrition plan,” says Draper. “Combining the new addition of the studio with the already established expertise within PEAC is a perfect means to offer beginners to professionals a complete package, consisting of both the nutritional and physical aspects of training. This is a “can’t miss” approach to success,” adds club manager Becky DiPierro.
