PEAC Health & Fitness's Member Holiday Brunch: Toys, Books and Donation to HomeFront!
December 16th, 2010
PEAC Health & Fitness celebrated the holiday season with a Member Holiday Brunch on Saturday, December 11th. PEAC members and guests enjoyed the festivities with special fitness events, the displays from local vendors, book signing by the authors of “Trenton, A Novel”, and a Toys for Tots pick up by the Marines. In addition, all the children in attendance were treated to the fun and excitement of a moonbounce, Julie the Elf featuring face painting and balloon art, crafts and a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Marines from Battery G 3rd Battalion 14th Marines were on hand to collect several bags of unwrapped toys donated by PEAC members. “With great pleasure, our members and staff watched the Marines pack their truck full of toys, knowing they were going to needy children in our community,” said Laura Geltch, Marketing Coordinator of PEAC Health and Fitness. The donations will be distributed to charities in the Mercer and Bucks County areas.
