WHY SLOW YOGA?
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6, 3pm
This workshop begins with a discussion on the benefits of slow, mindful yoga and will continue into a slow practice. Look forward to a brief introduction on why slow, mindful movement and breathing is good for building nervous system resilience, which can aid in managing anxiety and mild depression, pain and stress management as well as help ease PTSD. The nervous system loves slow mindful movement and breath! Discussion followed by a short practice so come dressed for a yoga class!
